Our
Story

After a trip to England, first-generation owner Herbert Harrison was inspired by the classic pub-style fish and chips he discovered there. In 1970, he brought that inspiration home to Cape Cod and opened Sir Cricket’s Fish & Chips.
Since then, Sir Cricket’s has become a Cape Cod landmark, earning recognition from Fodor’s, Zagat, Travel + Leisure, and Food & Wine—along with the loyalty of thousands of locals and visitors. The restaurant is known for its mouth-watering fried seafood, fresh lobster rolls, hearty chowder, and other coastal favorites.

We accept takeout orders by phone, or you’re welcome to stop in and order at the counter. Guests can enjoy their meal at one of our indoor or outdoor tables when available. Please note that we do not take reservations and seating is limited. Sir Cricket’s is counter-service, not full table service. We are open year-round!

"Visiting from out of town, this restaurant was recommended for good seafood and generous portions. They weren’t wrong. I had a delicious lobster roll and a nice order of fries. It was excellent. Highly recommended."
